Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using aehalo.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including business account holders, customers browsing the directory, and anyone submitting reviews or enquiries.

2. Description of Service

Aehalo is an online directory connecting Gujarati businesses with the community worldwide. The Service allows businesses to create and manage listings, and allows customers to browse, search, and contact businesses without requiring an account.

3. Business Accounts

a) Registration

To create a business listing, you must register for an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

b) Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about your business. Aehalo reserves the right to suspend or remove listings that contain misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent information.

c) One Listing Per Business

Each business account may create one listing. If you need to change your listing category or details, you may edit your existing listing from the dashboard.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

a) Plans

Business listings require an active subscription. We offer Starter and Premium plans, billed monthly. Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page.

b) Billing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly charges to your payment method. All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

c) Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your listing will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be suspended. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

d) Price Changes

We may adjust subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change takes effect.

5. Customer Use

Customers may browse the directory, view business listings, submit reviews, and send enquiries without creating an account. By submitting a review or enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are not impersonating another person.

6. Reviews

• Reviews must be honest, factual, and based on genuine experience.
• Reviews that are defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or contain personal threats will be removed.
• All reviews are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove reviews at our sole discretion.
• Business owners may not submit reviews for their own business or incentivise fake reviews.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of UK law
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service (e.g., DDoS attacks, spam submissions)
• Upload harmful content, malware, or offensive material

8. Content Ownership

a) Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (business descriptions, photos, etc.). By submitting content to Aehalo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content as part of the Service.

b) Our Content

The Aehalo name, logo, design, and website code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

9. Verification & Featured Listings

Listings with an active subscription receive a “Verified” badge indicating they have been confirmed as a paying, active business. The verified badge does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality by Aehalo.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Fail to maintain an active subscription
• Provide false or misleading business information
• Engage in fraudulent activity

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your listing and associated data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

Aehalo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of business listings or customer reviews.
• We are not liable for any disputes between businesses and customers.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Aehalo harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
